[ingest-scout] 3,000+ hours of ASR-ready speech across 7 South African languages: isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho, Setswana, Xitsonga, isiNdebele, and Tshivenda (the latter two are critically under-resourced). Fetched the HuggingFace page; dataset is fully released (100% complete for all languages), 831 GB, 2,630 monthly downloads, published December 2025 by the DSFSI group at University of Pretoria. South Africa has almost no speech dataset representation in the registry despite having 11 official languages; this directly addresses that gap.
